When walking through the gate and down the gravel pathway towards the tepees, I had no idea what to expect. You see pictures on instagram and on the internet but it never quite does it justice as to what it really looks like. This was like walking into a fairytale!
As we approached our spot, there were three beautifully white tepees just lay on a bed of grass, surrounded by the most enchanting, tranquil forest. I felt extremely grateful to be spending the night here. There were two larger tepees, both with king size beds, but we chose the smaller one with a queen size, we wanted to be extra snug and cozy on this autumn evening. All three tepees had a little deck area out front, with two black chairs and a thick, wooden log disguising as a table. The table held a flask of hot water, some mugs and tea bags. Inside the tepee it was extremely cozy, nothing but our bed and two bedside tables - it looked very inviting! They provided us with torches so we could walk up to the communal area later at night. This area had comfortable seating, a table and a fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows or warming up your hands whilst star gazing. There was also a seperate bathroom and shower in a cabin not far from the tepees, very beautifully decorated with a luxurious feel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, this place is perfect for people who love the outdoors but still want that bit of luxury when using the facilities etc. We felt truly invested into the nature that surrounded us and had the most peaceful night. We even had a perfect night sleep as they provide electric blankies to get your bed all toasty before you jump in. I honestly can't think of a single fault, everything was incredible and our host was so friendly and welcoming. If you love being one with nature, if you want a relaxing night in a fairytale like setting, if you and your friends want a night away, or if you just want a romantic escape.. this is the ideal place for you!
